The Current Research in Diabetes & Obesity Journal (CRDOJ) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Juniper Publishers. CRDOJ is dedicated to advancing knowledge, encouraging high-quality research, and promoting improved treatment strategies for individuals affected by diabetes and obesity. Diabetes is a metabolic disorder of carbohydrate regulation, typically occurring in genetically predisposed individuals. It is characterized by insufficient production or ineffective utilization of insulin, resulting in elevated levels of glucose in the blood and urine. Obesity, on the other hand, is defined as an excessive accumulation of body fat, generally considered to be 20% or more above an individual’s ideal body weight. It is associated with an increased risk of various health conditions, disability, and premature death. CRDOJ publishes a wide range of scholarly articles, including original research papers, review articles, mini reviews, short communications, and case reports, focusing on all aspects of diabetes and obesity. As an open-access journal, it provides free and unrestricted access to all published content, contributing to the global dissemination of knowledge for the betterment of healthcare and society.
