Worked as a resident in the urology department of the Lviv Railway Clinical Hospital (1995-1998); Assistant Professor, Department of Urology (1999–2004), Assistant Professor, Department of Urology (2004–2006), Professor, Department of Urology, Lviv National Medical University, May 2006 - January 2014, January 2014 Head of the Department of Reconstructive and Geriatric Urology Of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, since September 2014 Deputy Director of the Institute for Scientific Work. Scientific experience - 19 years. Scientific researches are devoted to questions of studying of prevalence of diseases of kidneys and urinary tract among the population of Ukraine, clinical and organizational aspects of improvement of specialized urological aid to the population of Ukraine, secondary prevention and rehabilitation of urological diseases, problems of urinary tract tumors, issues of tumors of the urinary tract, pathogens; proposed a number of new treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia, bladder tumors, patients with allograft transplantation, developed new classifications of benign prostatic hyperplasia, renal injury, pyelonephritis, chronic prostatitis; suggested appropriate symptom complexes; improved the methods of treatment of SCH, kidney cancer, chronic prostatitis. 345 scientific papers have been published. Participates directly in the preparation of the annual reports of the scientific activity of the Institute, the development of annual and prospective plans for research works of the Institute. It supervises the proper design and timely submission of all plans of scientific papers, scientific reports, prepares meetings and controls the documentation of the Scientific Council. Within the relevant commissions, it exercises constant control over the implementation of the curricula of graduate students and clinical interns, research assistants, and provides for their certification. Since 2014 - Deputy Chairman of the Specialized Academic Council D 26.615.01 for the protection of PhD and doctoral theses in the specialty 14.01.06 - Urology. Shulyak OV works at the Association of Urologists of Ukraine.

She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine with honors, As an American Urological Association Foundation Scholar, She researched genetic predisposition and the role of proto-oncogenes in the development of prostate cancer. She had a special interest in brachytherapy, high frequency ultrasound (HIFU), cryotherapy and other focal and minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer. She is writing two research protocols for the use of PRP in the prevention of ED in patients with prostate cancer undergoing radiation treatment and a second study, using PRP, for the reversal of ED in patients who have already undergone external radiation as a definitive treatment for prostate cancer.

Michael Samarinas is an Urologist, expertizing in Functional Urology, while investigating for research and clinical protocols and participating in working groups for international publications. He is, also, a skilled surgeon especially in the area of resolving problems related with neurourology. He has graduated from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly in Larissa, Greece in 2004 and his first job was as a General Practitioner in the Greek Province, as it is been officially requisitioned by the Greek Health System. Next, he worked as a General Surgery Resident in the Pediatric Hospital of Patras, Greece, been specially focused on the Pedourological cases. After his military service, he has been employed as a Urology Resident in the General Hospital of Larissa, Greece and finally as a Urology Resident in the University Hospital of Larissa, Greece, from which he has been approved as a Specialist in Urology. Nowadays, he is a fellower in Functional Urology in the Urological Department of UZ Gent Hospital in Belgium. He is also a PhD student and this period he is proceeding his investigations for this study, as well as for new researching areas that he is participating in. In2012 I started work at misrata cancer center as urology consultant up to now in addition to teaching, He did a lot of open urology operations minor & major beside all procedures of endourolgy. He presented a lot of scientific papers in national congresses. He was a course director for first national endourology course with hands on training & live pcnl & urs surgery. Currently he still resides in misrta since 2012 with his family.

After obtaining his medical degree from Cairo University in 1999, Mohammed ElSheemy earned a Master of Science then Doctor of Medicine in Urology in 2008. He is currently an Associate Professor of Urology at Cairo University, Egypt. He is a member of the pediatric renal transplantation team that started this program in 2010 in the Aboul-Riche Children hospital, Cairo University. Based on his research, a surgeon tailored ordinary polypropylene mesh was inserted as a mid-urethral tape for treatment of SUI using his own-designed (with his team) helical passers with marked decrease in the cost of treatment. His research includes also endourology, urolithisis, SWL, pediatric urology, pediatric renal transplantation, female urology and pelvic floor dysfunctions and urodynamics. An important part of his research was on calcular anuria in children and infants which resulted for the 1st time in a protocol for management depending on severity of obstruction, size and site of stones, and renal functions. He has published several scientific papers and book chapters and serve as an editor or international reviewer in several scientific journals. These research activities was supported by several courses in scientific writing and advanced statistical analysis. He is a member of several societies in Urology including European Association of Urology (EAU) and European Society for Pediatric Urology (ESPU). He has served as Assistant-Secretary of Peditric Urology Section of Egyptian Urological Association (EUA). In addition to research activities, he has a long experience in undergraduate and resident training and teaching.

Further, he is a contributor to three international text books in pediatric field. He is the recipient of multiple national, regional, and international awards in recognition of his contributions to the practice and teaching of urology. He had more than 30 abstracts presented in 21 international congresses in the field of urology (AUA, EAU, SIU, ESPU, and SUO), 8 of them were lectures and 3 of them received the best poster prize. His biblography is included in the 2008, 2009 and 2011 editions of "Whos Who in the World". He was awarded the Cairo University National Encourage Prize for Medical Science, 2007. He was awarded the Cairo University National Promotion Prize for Medical Science, 2010. He was awarded the Best Poster presentation in ENDOUROLOGY session in 23rd European Association of Urology Conference (Milan, Italy, March, 2008).He was also awarded the Best Poster presentation in INFERTILITY session in 23rd European Association of Urology Conference (Milan, Italy, March, 2008) he was awarded the Best Poster presentation in STONE DISEASE session in 103rd American Urological Association (Orlando, Florida, USA, May, 2008). He was awarded the prize of the best paper in the field of urology from the Egyptian urological association 2009. He shared actively in more than 20 international and national workshops. After obtaining his Bachelor degree of medicine and surgery (M.B.B.CH) from Cairo University in Egypt in 2004, Dr. Mohamed joined the Egyptian Ministry of Health to work as a general practitioner. Between August 2008 and February 2009, he had a great opportunity to join the United Nations Peace Keeping Forces in Sudan as a medical officer (United Nations Mission in Sudan, UNMIS). He started his speciality in Urology in Shebeen El-Koom teaching hospital, Montoya, Egypt, in April 2009 where he finished his residency training program in urology in this (700 bed) hospital in January 2014.After that he worked at Al-Bagoor general hospital, Egyptian Ministry of Health, as a urology specialist. During his residency program he succeeded in getting his Master degree of urology from Cairo university in 2012 and his thesis was about cancer bladder in Egypt. Also he got the honor to work as a paediatric urology resident for about 6 years (from 2009 to 2015) with Professor Mohamed Eissa at his private hospital (Kids Hospital),He is the Head of Egyptian Urology Association(EUA), Head of Pan African Urology Surgeons Association (PAUSA) and the pioneer of paediatric urology in Egypt and the Middle East. To be mentioned, Dr Mohamed Atef had the pleasure to work at the Egyptian Hospital in Mogadishu, Somalia. This hospital is a part of Development and Relief Sector of Arab Medical Union (a non-profit organisation), where he was the only urology doctor at this (100 bed) hospital for about one and half years (from April 2015 to November 2016). During this period he examined more than 4000 patients in outpatient clinic, and performed more than 350 different adult and paediatric urological operations like stones, nephrectomies, prostatectomies, hypospadias, pyeloplasty, undescended testes ….etc.Because of lack of resources specially robots, endoscopes, and laparoscopy, all these operations were done by open surgery.
