Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and Cervico-Facial Surgery, October 1997, with highest honours. In 1997 is the winner of Scholarship for PhD at the University of Catania. From 03/07/2000 to 30/09/2005 has worked at the University of Naples "Federico II", as a Consultant for High Skills in ENT and Cervico-Facial Surgery. In October 2005 he won the competition at Assistant Professor in Otolaryngology - banned by the Second University of Naples. Specialist in Audiology with highest honours in February 2007. Associate Professor of Otolaryngology from November 1, 2014, is assigned to the Department of Anesthesiological and Surgical Science and Emergency of the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. Head of research projects of national and international interest including the areas of the oncological pathology of head and neck, allergic rhinopathy and sino-nasal disease.
Paul S. Sung is Associate Professor at Central Michigan University. He received his DHScdegree from University of St. Augustine and a PhD degree from Nova Southeastern University. He has taught at several universities, including the University of Scranton, Des Moines University-Osteopathic Medical Center and Clarke University. His research interests include the mechanisms of chronic low back pain, and non-operative spine care and its clinical application to neuromuscular control. Dott. Daniele Vanni (MD, TA) is an orthopedic surgeon. He works at the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Department of the University of Chieti (Italy). Max Stanley Chartrand, Ph.D. is a professor of Behavioral Medicine, Chair of doctoral

worldwide. As a profoundly deaf individual, he utilizes a cochlear implant and assistive devices
for communication. He speaks on issues relative to mental health, education, motivation,
and hearing impairment. In 1994 he was honored with the hearing health industry’s highest worldwide recognition, the Joel S. Wernick Excellence in Education Award. He holds six advanced degrees, and is one of the most published authors in the healthcare field, with his work featured on more than 22,000 websites today. He serves on committees and advisory positions in the International Hearing Society, Society of Behavioral Medicine, World Congress of Positive Psychology, American Tinnitus Association, Better Hearing Institute, and Audiology Online.
He also played professionally on the saxophone and clarinet in several symphony orchestras
and jazz bands, and has made a number of recordings over the years. He just returned
from Japan where he was featured soloist on a national program, the first profoundly
deaf individual in history known for such a feat. He includes a live concert of some of his
astounding music on some of his lecture assignments, which demonstrate the power of music
in overcoming the communicative and cognitive barriers presented by profound deafness.
