Opinion
The initiative for this topic is to know both the scientific and medical importance of Mosquitoes and their role in the transmission of many parasitic and viral infectious diseases. Mosquito-borne infections are responsible for the death of at least two million people annually, thus rendering the Mosquito one of the most dangerous of human enemies.
The World Health Organization issued a report in 2014, entitled "The Vector Borne Diseases" (P.45), stating that throughout the field of Malarial disease, there exist a severe global shortage of qualified Entomologists and technical staff. The WHO recommends that governments of the world should consider additions, specifically Entomology courses, to university curriculums.
The lack of qualified professionals in this field is indeed a problem, the resolution of which may be multi factorial. See identified areas of concern listed below:
A. There are no professional job vacancies specifically adapted for this subject as a career.
B. There is a lack of educational and scientific references that facilitate easy learning.
C. There may be a lack of serious interest to find a radical solution to this problem.
D. Lack of availability of specialized training centers in this regard with a shortage of qualified training staff to carry out this task effectively.
E. Some believe that it may be too difficult to learn.
Regardless of massive internet search engines, much of the current information on Malaria needs to be re-written and arranged in a more user-friendly website with specific references to guide those keen individuals who wish to pursue an their interest in this topic. Much of the surrounding terminology needs to be clarified and explained in detail to provide a vital resource for anyone who has experience, or wishes to gain experience in this field.
Learning insect identification is just not enough; one must understand the main characteristics of every part of the Mosquito. Workers in the field must strive to learn to identify specific characteristics and features to aid the identification between the different species of Mosquitoes and their larvae, and this is the primary goal of preparing this book.
The meaning of diagnosis the species of mosquito's larvae of anopheles and adult mosquitoes is the microscopic examination of these insects to determine and identify their species and to achieve this, it is necessary to:
A. Learning to distinguish between the larvae of different species of mosquitoes as well as in the stages of puberty in addition to the distinction between both males and females in one genus which has been described in detail explanation supported with explanatory images.
B. Studying the structure morphology of both the larvae of the mosquitoes of and the adult mosquito and knowing all the major parts of them and the components of each part and the characteristics of similarities and differences in shape or characteristics of the main parts and components in larvae and mosquitoes adult in the same species.
To acquire these educational skills, it is necessary to study the general structure of the larvae of the Anopheles mosquitoes and the adult mosquitoes, naming the main parts in both, and studying the formal description of the components of these parts as well as indicating the possibilities in which shape they may appear This is very important because it will make it easier for the learner to understand and the guide key Differentiate between Species.
The principle of the guide key is to differentiate between the species structurally so that the characteristic of a part of the larva or adult mosquito which is selected. Depending on the possibility, it is possible to divide larvae or adult mosquitoes into groups according to a number of possibilities. it could be or seems for that part.
