Abstract
Virtually man thinks many things. It is his democratic right. There is no way to restrict his thinking. Mind cannot be bound. But man is alone. He is not only alone. He is seriously alone. Man has come alone. He will go alone. He came without any escort. He will go without any escort. He has come without anything i.e., with an empty hand. He will go without anything i.e., with empty hand. Loneliness is his ever companion and never-failing friend. It is his inevitable destiny. He is without source. He is without a destination. He is an eternal passenger without source and destination. He practices soliloquy. He enjoys soliloquy. Thus, he is without having anything.

Introduction
Creative writing is based more on manifestation rather than on expression. It does not inform, rather it reveals. So, it bears no reference. The best creative writing is critical, and the best critical writing is creative. This article is an outcome of thinking about creative writing meant for a general readership. As such, I have adopted a free style methodology so that everyone can enjoy the pleasure of reading. As you might know, Francis Bacon (1561-1626), the immortal essayist, wrote many essays namely ‘Of Love’, ‘Of Friendship’, ‘Of Ambition’, ‘Of Studies’, and so on. The multiple-minded genius correctly pointed out that all the words in the dictionary can be used as themes for essays. But little has been done since his death to continue or finish his monumental task. Bacon’s unique individual style of presentation ignited my imagination and encouraged me to write creative essays as a method of relieving a wide range of emotions through catharsis.
Article
Without means in the absence of. For example: He went to Sweden without her. It implies not having or doing something or lacking something. For example: You look nice without make-up. It is on the outside e.g., the enemy without. It is externally. It is used as a function word to indicate the absence or lack of something or someone e.g., fight without fear; left without him; looks without seeing. It is unless. It is an outer place or area e.g., came from without.
Without sugar tea is tasteless. Without love life is meaningless. Without radar, ships are aimless. Only the sufferer can gauge and guess the depth of without having the desired thing. As such the proverb goes, “The wearer knows where the shoe pinches”. Thus, the importance of without is immense and is not overstated at all. It is simply a drawback. Without is omnipresent. Man bears it. He must bear it. He is bound to bear it. Thus man, willy-nilly, bears without infinite times from cradle to coffin in its various forms and features having different degrees and dimensions as well. Someone can handle it. Someone cannot. Sometimes he is liable. Sometimes he is not. As such he can both be blamed and not blamed. An unfortunate person faces more without, and a lucky person faces less without and a holy soul face without never. A pious soul believes that all are pre-destined, and man has nothing to do except experiencing.
In contrast, an atheist argues that there is no luck. There is no fortune. Man is the architect of his own fate. Man has everything. He is with everything. He is not without. In fact, an atheist is a person of strong determination. He likes not to compromise. He likes not to surrender. He is brave. He wants to fight bravely till the last drop of blood ceases. To him cowardice means death. Man without money is beggar. Life without courage means death. Sugar causes health hazards. As such a health-conscious person seldom takes sugar. He avoids it. Though tea without sugar tastes tasteless it is a life-giving stimulus to a person suffering from high blood sugar. As such without sugar is life to a patient and with sugar is future danger to a fit person.
Without implies nothingness. Lover without lover loses interest towards life. It is quite mundane. A mundane person if loses little preaches that he has suffered huge loss. He is very sly. Such a sly person, if earn much profit, never confesses it. He is quite alert lest his friends and relatives ask for money. A wise is free from such earthly matter. To the learned both with and without are equal and at par. Without is a negative term. It highlights negation. It is the lame excuse of an idle person. An idle person is always pessimist if asked to work. He claims to share without toiling a single drop of sweat. He is like a sleeping partner.
Passengers without tickets get punishment. International travelers without a VISA faces serious problem in foreign countries. Parents without children pass a meaningless life. Either they adopt or they donate their property to a charitable institution or to the persons of their choice. If someone or something is free from badness it is good. Conversely, he, who is addicted to bad things, is bad. A drunkard is bad. Cheating is bad. A liar is bad. He who has money has many friends. If a rich person becomes poor, then the number of his friends decreases gradually. Later, one fine morning, he discovers that he has become friendless i.e., without a friend. Only the real friend never leaves his friend whom he loves dearly. As such they say, “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. Thus, if a person has no friends, it directly proves that either the person is penniless or evil or both simultaneously. Poverty renders a person without friends. A person without money must live alone. This is a hard reality. Very few people take lessons from this practical experience. A person without an urgent thing in need suffers from confidence. In contrast, an intelligent person does not lose heart. A strong-minded person depends on both presence of mind and courage as well. In fact, a bold person wins everywhere at every age. He knows the password of success. As such he seldom cares for without.
Without means no. It is good if it avoids bad things. A person is good if he is without bad habits. Man is bad if he bears the bad thing and leaves the good thing. A good person becomes bad if he is without good company and lives with bad people. It causes trouble. Also, it invites trouble. Everybody knows it. But very few obey it. It is common knowledge. But the paradox is that common sense is most uncommon among the common people. Only a fortunate person gets everything as desired. Fortunate persons are numbered. As such most people must live without the desired thing. Fortune smiles on those who work hard. So, if a lucky person always depends upon good luck he will suffer, since luck may not favor always. A wise knows it. He tries hard always. He considers fortune as a bonus. Bonus is not regular income. It is obtained upon consistent work throughout the year. This is a hard reality. A fool knows it not. So, the nonsense always expects good thing without doing anything.
A person without sufficient knowledge cannot do research work. A student without a consistent good track record cannot shine in life. A businessman cannot flourish without inventory of varieties of articles as per demand of the prospective buyers. A tourist without sufficient money cannot visit all the places of interest. A student without sufficient time in hand cannot finish the last question in the examination. A person without sufficient money cannot purchase good things from the market. A cook cannot cook well without sufficient recipes of the meal. A lover cannot conquer both the head and heart of his fiancée without sufficient time devoted exclusively to his high command. People without parents mourn childhood. If the issue dies, then life becomes unbearable without the eloquence of naughty sounds.
Without implies pessimism. A pessimist always thinks of the negative side of life. He has seen the dark side of life more than light. None has illuminated his dark philosophy towards life. In contrast an optimist always thinks positively. He knows that life is a cocktail of both with and without. One must bear both calmly. A fool becomes morose if he fails. His joy knows no bound when he is favored by with. Both his exposures are extreme in nature. He is difficult to handle. Without utmost care he cannot be tackled.
